When you look past the elegant dresses, fancy flowers, food, details, seating charts, song choices, and drama, a wedding is nothing more than a ceremony affirming two people’s love for each other and desire to spend the rest of their lives together. A wedding doesn’t require anything more than two people in love, some of the people closest to them, and someone that can legally perform the ceremony (and a good photographer to capture it for posterity.
Sheryl + Steve understand this and their wedding was a beautifully intimate affair. They had at the historic Powell House in center city on stunning spring day. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends, had one of their friends perform the ceremony, and focused on the love that they palpably share.
They also had some pretty awesome pink shoes.

Regina + Jesse recently got married on a wonderful day at the Buena Vista Country Club.
Regina is from this area originally, but she and Jesse live in North Carolina. As you would imagine, that can make planning a wedding rather stressful, but you would never know it. They are an extremely warm and loving couple, and it was an honor to be part of their day.

Savanna + Jevon had an absolutely gorgeous day for their wedding, It was sunny, bright, and warm, perfectly mirroring their personalities.
The ceremony was at the lovely Holy Rosary Church in Claymont, DE. After the ceremony we headed over to Archmere Academy for some photos and then on to the reception at the Boothwyn Ballroom. It was a fantastic day.

Bridget + Mike recently tied the knot on a wonderful Philadelphia day!
They had their ceremony at the wonderful Old St. Joseph’s. Old St. Joe’s is the oldest Catholic church in Philadelphia. It’s a beautiful church and really gave their day a sense of history and longevity.
They had their reception at Richmond Hall, one of the city’s more unique venues. The large open main room with its high ceilings and balcony made for some interesting lighting possibilities
