January 15th, 2009 | File under Personal, maternity

I’ve been friends with Amy for a bazillion years. Her husband Josh and I first met in the industrial design program in college and have been friends ever since. Amy and Josh have been together forever (I think since the first Roosevelt administration. Maybe McKinley. Details are fuzzy) and they are expecting their first child in a couple months. They are some of the most amazing people I know, and will no doubt make excellent parents.

We decided to do this session at Sherman Mills in east falls. It’s definitely not the kind of place you would immediately think of for a maternity session, but I think it worked out really well. It was very cold and windy the day we shot these, but Amy didn’t complain once.

Stay tuned. In a couple months I’ll be posting photos of the actual baby, not just the bump.
