Last week I spent four days in Charlotte, NC shooting my cousin Karen’s wedding. I have to admit that I was a little apprehensive being hired by family, but I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the way things turned out. I had a great time, got to see some of my favorite people, and most importantly - got to be part of Karen + Beau’s day.

This past weekend I got to shoot Vicki + Rick’s wedding with my pal Bart Breslow. I always enjoy shooting with Bart, and this was no exception.

Today I’m thrilled to announce the first of many exciting changes for 2008 - a new online gallery and ordering system!

This is an exciting change and offers some huge improvements over the previous system…

- All print orders will now be produced by a top-of-the-line professional lab using the best papers, equipment, and personnel available. The quality - especially compared to the old system - is simply stunning. 

-  There are now more paper choices, including lustre (the color saturation of glossy with the fingerprint resistance of matte) and metallic (amazing colors and depth with a high gloss finish). 

- Canvas gallery wraps are now available! Your image is printed on canvas and stretched over a wooden frame. They are a stunning way to display your images. 

- It’s now much easier to submit your proofing and album options. Simply drag and drop the thumbnail images into the ‘my album’ area, choose your style of album or proofs, and hit submit. That’s it! No more spreadsheets, or copying and pasting file names into an email. 

- You can now pay your photography retainer or balance online using a credit card (though I still prefer checks)!

- In the coming weeks I’ll be adding additional products, like gift certificates

- Best of all, this system is run by me, and I will personally be fulfilling every order. No more dealing with outside companies for your cherished prints. I’ll see every order through from the time you hit submit until the time you open the box. If you have a question about a product, you can call or email me, not a nameless drone.
